Over the last couple of years, the club has completed the remarkable transformation of a rough piece of agricultural land into competition standard football pitches.  It has also sourced nearly £20,000 of Barclays Spaces for Sport funding to invest properly in its volunteers and coaching programmes.

The club is now entering another further phase of development, probably the most exciting time since it was formed back in 1995.  It has recently secured detailed planning consent for the development of a purpose built clubhouse, changing facility and community gym, and is awaiting the outcome of a major funding bid to the Football Foundation.  The £300,000 development will make an enormous difference to the club’s activities and its ability to become self-supporting over the long-term.  In particular, the project will allow the club to work with a wider range of people, particularly those groups that have found it difficult to access the club’s facilities in the past.  Among other things, the club is keen to engage more with women and girls, older people and disabled people.

All being well, the development is expected to commence in the Autumn of 2008.

What we do:

The club operates one senior team and two junior teams (under elevens and under tens).  Every year, we hold a popular five-a-side tournament involving up to two hundred players and spectators.  We're keen to promote other sports on the site, including rugby, archery, running etc.  If you'd like to use the facilities, please give us a ring.
